sportomatic oil pump as trans cooler pump?

hi, can a sportomatic oil pump mounted to the cam housing be used as a trans cooler pump? can the drive pins be added to the camshaft? just curious.

While this sounds like a reasonable solution, I'd be worried about the oil viscosity of a manual transmission being too thick for that pump. You might break it. I think the torque converter in the sporto used engine oil.
