Programmable MSD 6AL-2
 

Just read about a relatively new MSD product... a fully programmable CD unit which, according to the hype, lets you toss the weights etc inside the distributor and allows great timing precision. Probably overkill for most of us, but having just spent a couple hundred bucks getting a distributor properly curved, I'd have bought one of these and set it to the Porsche specs for just a bit more money if I'd known about it. Anyone had any experience with this product?

sounds interesting, i would think this would work great with a 964 dual distributer for a twin plug setup.
