Is customer service a thing of the past..not here at pelican!!
Ordered some parts on Pelican this weekend..Realized that I forgot to put a CV boot repair kit on the order. I sent an e-mail immediately to customer service and asked if I could add the item.
I received, first thing this morning a response saying that they could not add the part since the CC had been billed. I called in to see if they could just add the part in the same box to save shipping..was told no. I would have to pay full shipping. ![]() Wayne, be sure to tell Maria that she made a BIG impression on me today.

My office is 10 minutes from where Performance Products was located in Van Nuys. I went there for years to buy my 911 and 944 parts.
When they expanded their customer base to the Japanese and domestic car parts their customer service began to slip. The once knowledgeble sales staff seemed disinterested in the customer and more interested in when their next break was. No insight to the products or the need of the customer. Once when I asked a question on fitment of a part, the sales guy slid a catalog to me and began helping the next customer. I've always been a touch and feel before you buy, so I always perfered brick and mortar businesses, but that changed after my first Pelican purchase. Maria actually helped me as well and I agree. Customer service is excellent. Shipping is very quick also, parts usually arrive the next day. So +1 from me to Pelican Customer Service

Customer Service
Had virtually the same experience, made an order, then 'remembered' that I needed one more piece, except that my mistake was over the weekend and a day later. Still had a better experience than with most of the others and yes Maria finally helped me.

Thanks guys. Our warehouse and fulfillment operations are so streamlined these days that your order is likely being packed and placed on the dock about an hour after it's placed. We have to move very quickly to keep up these days.
