911-993 alt/fan assembly compatible

I have a 3.6 out of a C2S that I got as a longblock, and will be building it up over the winter. I am trying to collect parts, and am trying to figure year range that will work. I need a distributor, and an alternator fan assembly. The distributor is a little more straight forward as it is dual plug, but the fan looks like previous years. Is there a source to know what year parts I can use, or does it really have to be a fan from a 993.
