north dallas alignment
need 4 corner and alignment in north texas area, anyone have suggestions, was thinking maybe zim's . anyone used them... thanks for all replies

Maybe RUF on Commander off of Midway? Right there by the Addison airport.

People have recommended Zim's to me (my neighbor used to have a 911 and would bring it there for service). I've also gotten recommendations for Mayo's as well.

Also give Boardwalk Porsche a check, they do much of the local track car setup. They also do GT3's from all over. Ask to speak to John Gladwell, he does almost 100% track prep for the dealers customers.

I have Zim's work on my car on things I can't do. (rear window, gearbox, end play, tolerance measurements) I aligned my car myself. I got a reasonable quote from them for one, but they did not do corner balancing then. That was one year ago. The service manager is Bob. Great guy. But they all are there.

Zim's is good.
I had Zim's do an alignment for me. During that alignment, they found an issue in my suspension, and straightened it out for me at no extra cost. Showed me the piece (can't remember it off the top of my head, too early) showed me how they repaired it, and it was done the next day. I was very happy with them. The old guy (owner) is kind of a gruff BS'er, so don't let that put you off. He and his sons are very knowledgeable.
