my wife's subaru is in the shop...my 911 is her daily driver!

love my wife, and would never forbid her to drive my 911. i took my sparco out, as well as other track oriented stuff to make it comfy. she LOVES driving it, and frankly i think she looks very HOT driving my car about. she drives a manual tranny well. if i had to nitpick, i think she drives it on the timid side.

i hope her car gets fixed FAST. her sunroof collasped on the rail or something. rain is coming, and this needs fixin. she loves my SC and wouldnt let me sell it.

you guys territorial with your cars?

You need to have more than one. It's just a matter of time.

I wont let her drive it but i dont need to go there because if she cant drive a stick on a Honda, she def cant drive a 915 based SC. That said.. I really hope she never learns to drive a stick.. or Id lose my excuse to say NO. LOL Right now i can say HELL NO... and she doesnt object...

I hope you are talking about cars...!

I let my girlfriend drive the 911 cab anytime she wants. However I point out to her how much more comfortable her Saab cabriolet is...

My wife can drive the 911 any time she wants. She chooses not to, though.

My wife doesn't drive a manual trans, so my 911 and MazdaSpeed3 are all mine!

My wife doesn't touch the 911s. She's expressed some interest in the '72 now that it is done. This makes me...nervous...as she's not so great with cars - smoothness with the controls or staying inside the lines. She's never learned where her vehicle is 'in space'.

On the other hand I've dated women who love, and can handle pickup trucks with aplomb. That is literally a turn-on for me.

Oh, and pix-or-ban.

My wife has always flown our airplanes, including twins (that means two engines, boys...), so I'm not all that surprised that she can actually drive a 911.

My wife handles the car just fine. She is actually more gentle with the gearbox than I am. And I know how expensive they are. No fears here.

Awhile back my wifes car was in the shop for about a week. She wanted to use my Carrera to commute to work. About an hour drive each way. And she was going to be parking my 911 in a parking garage.
It did not go over very well but I put my foot down. Which of course prompted her to go for the high end rental.
OH!!!! Right now I am really in the hot seat!
Monday my wife realized her name is not on the 911's pink slip or registration.
I never really thought about it. Apparently is bothers her a bit.....Go figure?

judi drove the 996 when i first got it. one time. She has no interest in the sc. When she pulled into the driveway ( its short and step ) she left half the clutch in 3o feet on concrete.

I understand why your wife is bothered by this.

Our ladies need to know they are more important than our 911s.
It's a girl thing...

Just between you and me... Need to believe.

My ex wife never drove my 964. I lost that car in the divorce settlement.
Serves me right I guess but I learnt from the experience so my current girl friend drives my SC ;-)

Geez guys I gave my wife a '84 Carrera instead of an engagement ring. Her choice. I do not drive it, it is in her name and I think she looks pretty hot in it too. YMMV
