I got mine with a PO bra, too.. The bungees were hooked to clips/etc inside the front trunk just below the windshield, approx 6 to 8 inches in from the outer edges of the hood. Then.. there is a bungee that hooks the two sides together, inside the hood too.

Then you put the sleeve piece on the hood and slam it shut over the already installed fender pieces, and bend the hood up at the edges so it never looks right when closed without the bra.

Or, you adjust the latch, before you close it, to allow some extra room for all the vinyl pieces.

The PO of my car did not adjust the latch correctly, so now if you look at it close, the hood bends up at the edges... that bugs me. so be careful.

The paint on mine isn't perfect anyway, so I don't even put the bra on anymore.

Be careful.

I was gonna say something like, "dude, try putting the bra on your old lady" but I think it's pretty played out by now.

I put the bra on occasionally to cover my imperfect paint

What Scott said.

That's why you can get used bra's cheap. I have a bra but after I figured out the issues of closing the hood it went back in the box.

There are bra's on the market that are more elegant but they only make them for late model Porsches. I purchased the magnetic track bra but that has its down side as well. If you have any body putty under that nice paint job the magnetic bra doesn't work

Bra's are BAD

Just my two cents - want to damage your paint - get a bra!!! One grain of sand gets under that thing - scratch. Water gets under it - it hazes your paint. Last but not least, leave it on long enough in the sun, and you will have a two tone paint job.

Take it or leave it

You may want to consider a clear bra.
