pic test

just trying to see if I can load a pic this way...
Damnit...didn't work. http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/frown.gif

I took a pic I had saved onto a zip disk that I have tried to load before that was too big.
I went in and reduced the size to 75% but it is saying that it is still too big by just a bit.
Son of a...
Oh well...you guys may not get to see any more rebuild pics.
:S

Ok for some reason when I go into Microsoft Photo Editor and reduce the photo size to 75% it won't let me save it like that.
I can "save as" (that didn't work) but not "save"...
What gives????

Lee,

Why don't you get the free download of Irfanview at ZDnet ...

http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/stories/info/0,,000ABJ,.html

It has very flexible resizing, as well as compression ratio adjustments that allow file size reductions very quickly and easily!

Did I mention it was FREE?

Warren, I tried to download the software last time you posted the link...but my computer is an absolute POS and wouldn't download it.

Hey, how do you post the little photo with your signature???

Early_S_Man 06-18-2001 11:52 AM

Lee,

Check your email!

It may not be your computer ... I got a 'This page cannot be displayed' message in Internet Explorer when I tried the download!

But, Netscape 4.08 (with Norton's Antivirus plug-in) worked just fine to download it!
