Which fog lamps are period correct for a '71?

Hi all,

Can anybody tell me which (hella) below bumper fog lamps are period correct for a '71 911? Pictures please if possible.

I have found the following number:901-631-205-01 but no picture. I have seen the hella 128's, but these seem to be for the '65-'68 cars.

Thanks very much!

Hessel

Hessel, they are Hella 169's. Here's a pic from a '71.

Note that the correct fog lights (as pictured on the white car) have the mounting bolts coming straight out the back, NOT on the top. There are identical lights with mounts on the top of the light, but these aren't correct.

regards,
Eric

The 169's are expensive compared to the 128's and used sets are difficult to find. Aside from the rear mounting as mentioned by Eric, they are a bit larger than 128's. They're out there, you'll just have to look carefully and cautiously.
