Question Fresh air blower

Can anyone give me the correct part number for the fresh air blower that sits just below the windscreen and behind the dashboard ('88 Carrera)? None of my parts books have it. I called one place (Hendrick's of Charlotte)that gave me the part number 911.571.320.32, but that part is described as an "a/c blower." As far as I can tell, the fresh air blower has nothing to do with the a/c system, so I dont think thats the right number. Stoddard's search engine also describes that number as an a/c blower.

Hi

I don't know the number, but why do you need to know?

Someone (Superman?) has replaced the motor or the bushes in the motor to stop it squealing or to make it go.

I will need to address the squealing one day.

Bottom line - you may not need a new Porsche ($$$$$$$$$$) one.
