Looking for cracked, unwanted wheel

I posted this request in the classifieds, had many lookers but no replies. Hopefully I will get a response here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please let me know if you have an useless wheel that you are willing to part with.

It will be used to roll my car in and out of the garage only while I do some repairs and refinishing of the current wheels.

If there is another compatible wheel/solution out there, please educate me.

It must at least be able to hold air. Anything alike to this link would do the trick: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads18/IMG00252+20101202+21331291381243.jpg

Please let me know what you have.

FWIW: I recently found a bent Fuch on EBay for $40, which I used for an air hose reel. Might take a little while to collect a set, but should be cheaper that way. A set of steelies would work as well...

Also, send a PM to "racerbvd". He's up your way and has more wheels than Hugh Hefner has bunnies.

Still looking....

I'll take any wheel that fits an '86 Carrera. As previously mentioned, cracked and bent ok as long as it holds air.

Harbor Freight has metal vehicle dollies. Two sizes -1000lb and 1500 lb capacities. $60 for 2. You can place your hub on them and then push the car. The dollies have 4 wheels on each one so it is pretty easy to push. Hope this helps.

I've got a couple bent Cookie Cutters I use for shop rollers.

Too bad you're so far away. Shipping would cost more than they are worth. If you were close, I'd let you borrow them for as long as you need.

Not to hi-jack, but this is exactly what I want to do in my garage I am building out now. How did you attach it to the wall. I was thinking really long bolt to stud.

Harbor Freight, spare trailer tire mount, tapcon to block wall, $12.99 (less if you have a 20% off coupon):

Wheels....

I have two after market 7x16 Fuchs style wheels available. I replaced them because of a very slight imbalance that I never could eliminate. You can have them for $50 plus shipping if you wish. I was planning on making them into hose reels but never got around to it.
