Ride height tweak help needed

OK, so my car was lowered 'professionally' some time in the early 90's. Looks good, but I want just a little bit more drop in the back.
If it was in fact lowered correctly, would the assumption that the spring plates were adjusted to center as part of the procedure for final height fine tuning be a probable one?
And if that is in fact the case, can I get maybe another 1/4 to 1/2 inch lower out of the adjuster plates?
I am headed to the bike shop for a 36MM thin wrench. I am still unclear on if I need a slim 24MM, if a regular 24MM wrench will work or if a 24MM wrench is even needed...I have read countless threads which have helped and hindered my understanding of the procedure.
Any and all helpful responses or opinions welcome. thx all.

I would say your car looks pretty much on the low end as it is ... I tried playing with mine this Summer and i can confirm that you will need the "proper" wrench to do the job !
I suggest you read up carefully on the procedure as those spring plate bolts are torqued pretty tight and i managed to unseat one of the eccentric spring plate bolts ...

Major panic !!!

For what you may gain,i wouldn't bother as your car looks great as is :)

Yes, you need a 24 and a 36mm slim wrench to do the job.

I agree with WC077 in that your car looks great as it sits.

I know you are not a newbie but why would you want to mess with it? Just my .02 of course.

Check the position of the adjusters before even starting to unbolt things. Ifthey are not in the "middle" of the range, you may not be able to getmuch out of them

Good luck and post new pics if you lower it.

Oh haha is correct if they are not in the middle or at the other end of the slot, you will have to reindex the bars. Its easy to find out when you pull the wheel, but you may be opening Pandora's box for just a little bit lower ride height. If it was factory height it would be worth the hassle.

Car looks good.
