2004 Porsche GT-3

Okay, I have never changed the oil on anything newer than a 993. Is there anything special to changing the oil on a 04 GT-3?

Its not difficult at all,...

Drain the tank, change the filter (its up on top) and voila',...done.

Use a good oil, not that 0w-40 M1 swill.

very simple, but just to add, there are still two drain plugs, one for the tank and one for the case, which below is the one in red and the one just below the sway bar:

What is a "Good Oil" for the GT-3? I don't want to start another oil thread (most of us here don't own GT-3s), I'm just curious...

Thanks for picture. I have seen the complete bottom of the car exactly once at a tech session. Now I have a set of hockey pucks to lift the car properly on my friends lift..

Thanks Steve, I didn't realize that ELF had become Total. I have been using Brad Penn in my punched out 3.2 track car and Castrol 20-50 in my 84 Carrera.
