| tire choice Hi everyone, I am making my decision about the tires that I want to run on my 911. i have the stock 16 in Fuchs. I think that the best tire I can by is the SO2 pole position. In my purchase I am going for the maximum dry weather handling possible and the so2 PP seem to be that tire. I was just looking for any feedback on a great traction tire that will preform well at autocrosses. Thanks alot, John | ||

I run Dunlop SP Sport 8000's and have been happy with their performance in (entry level) autoX and DE. And you can't beat their price/performance ratio! Nick. ------------------ _ _ __ _ _ Nick Shumaker 1982 911SC Coupe nickshu@yahoo.com PCA -- Rocky Mtn. Region

Ditto, however the S02s are somewhat more predictable, the SP 8000s can really surprise you when they're cold. Another tire to look at, is the A509 which doesn't wear as evenly. Potenza RE730s would be what I'd recommend. They're predictable, excellent wet/dry traction, tread life is good, performance is good, they're cheap, etc. However a bit noisy, but not as much as the A509s. Ahmet
