1977 911S Radio and CDR23
Will a CDR-23 radio work with a 1977 911S? How about a CDR-210 or 220?
What is the stock radio for a 1977 911S? Thanks in advance |

radio
cdr 210 and 220 will should work in a 77s. One of them has an issue with being able to read the faceplate when installed in earlier cars. I have one in my car and cannot read it during the day. For $100 you can buy a retrofit faceplate that you can read.
Before you buy one make sure it comes with the harness. Justin

The 77 911S I owned many years ago came with a Blaupunkt "Bamberg" radio as original equipment.

There are a half dozen Blaupunkts listed on the option list for '74-'77. Mine had a Bamberg -- which was pretty cool because it had shortwave and a microphone for recording onto the cassette tape (even if mine didn't work).
Rod.
