69 Tach

My 69 T tach had a later model tach shoved in and held in place by tape. We were trying to put back the correct tach. I was told by one source that since this original 2.0 engine had an aftermarket MSD ignition the original tach would no longer work.
Any previous experience with this?
Thanks
mark

Call MSD or Pelican. Pelican offers the MSD and there is a module offered to make the tach work with the ignitor as some tach will not work with the set up due to the multi-sparking of the unit. I don't think you will have a problem making your original tach work, after talking to either source.

I've heard the '69 tach is unique. Check w/ MSD, maybe...

Ossi Blue

My 69 is Ossi blue also. It's comke back from a terrible Whale tail plastic identity.
Still sorting out some of the comfort issues next step is getting rid of as much of the leaking as possible.

ery Christmas to all
