no low beams
I have read the many threads and still cannot figure out why my low beams do not work. I just installed the relay kit and still does not affect this. My high beams were stuck on, so I seperated the contacts in the stalk, and now I can flash my high beams, but they will not stay on when pushed forward. I still cannot get any low beams - is there a direct connections between the headlight switch and the stalk for the low beams, or just replace the stalk and it should fix all the issues - including the turn signal indicators being lit all the time - have checked the bulbs and grounds - but they do go off when I use the emergency flashers.
What gives? |

Cheers

Since each low beam (and high beam) is on a separate fuse and after-relay wire, the problem is either at the headlight switch or (more likely) the stalk. Since you've already been in there to play with the high beam reeds, try to find the low beam reeds that should contact one another when the highs are off. Carefully bend them to make contact if they are missing one another. Make sure they're clean, too.
