So cold it stopped time itself!
My 84 Cab sat in the garage last week when we had a week of below zero temps outside. It probably got as cold as 5 degrees in the garage. When I got into the car, my clock was on the wrong time. I reset it and it has worked fine since. Has anyone here seen a clock in their Pcar get soo cold it stops?

How often do you re-wind it?
|
low battery?
|
Mine does this every winter. I have even taken it apart and cleaned and re oiled the gears. At this point I have given up and reset the time.

I quit setting mine, probably time for the Tick Tock Shop.

Your clock works??

Well I guess my only hope is the Copenhagen crowd fails in their mission so my clock will happily stay warm

Mine does the same thing. Works fine, but stops sometimes overnight when it's cold.

Robhamster - It probably had moisture inside that froze the internals.

wow mine stops when its warm out too.
if it is driven more it stays closer to the correct time but if it sits for a few days it will be off no matter what the temperature is. |
Clock lives outside these days and works perfectly....period.
