Hinge modification on C2 decklid for early cars
I have finally got the things together to do a decklid conversion on my 1972 911 Targa using a C2 retractable spoiler and decklid. Does anyone have pictures of the hinge modification that they made to do this? I understand some have simply bent the hinges while others have had them cut and welded and some have even used some sort of spacers. Any pictures would be appreciated. Thanks,

Hello
You need the 964 hinges and then the relocatet position is no problem if you use long M8 bolts or make yourself adapters on a lathe ( correct word ? ). Grüsse Last edited by Roland Kunz; 11-12-2001 at 08:59 AM.. |
