Any feedback on Karosserie (VA) for engine work?

I'm looking at a car that had a new top-end done by Karosserie in Virginia.

A quick search of this boards showed good feedback for body work, but I did not find a specific reference to their engine work. They do seem to specialize in early cars (356 in particular).

Anyone have any personal experience here?

Thanks.

What kind of engine are you referring to?
The positive search feedback is spot on. They have done incredible work on all likes of 356's, Speedsters, early 911s 914, 964 and at one point a genuine 550 ( I saw the car and work done while it was there a few years ago) as well as some Beck Spyders and 356s. Luis and the boys are very talented and cars of theirs have appeared in Excellence mag among others. There was a shop in the same industrial park that did some engine work called IMA Motorsports that just moved which was an incredible shop that did more modern cars
They are really cool guys and upfront so I would just call them and ask about the particular car that had the rebuild.

Oh and personal experience for me there was great. I walked in there about 10 years ago looking for a 928 and ended up learning a lot from them. I brought like 4 cars to them for PPI's which they charged me a few pizzas for and they steered me in the right direction then I bought a customer 86 Carrera. Few cars later I restored a 71 911 with their helpand advice. I made some good friends and one of the body men/engine builders (who moved recently) is a great friend now.
