Question oil capacity in sump (crankcase)

I need to drain the sump to work on the timing chain and ramps. Does anyone know how much oil is in there? 81'SC

3 - 5 quarts depending on how long the car has been sitting. Be sure to drain all oil from both areas because it will continue trying to fill up the sump because of gravity and oil pump clearances.
