windshield replacement in San Diego, CA
I picked up a rock about 2 weeks ago on my way to work. By the time I got to the office, the crack had grown to about 6 inches.
Looks like I'm in the market for a new front windshield. Can some one give me an idea of the cost to replace the windshield. Also, anyone have experience with a local shop? 1986 Carrera

Used Safelite - National Chain. Less than $200 installed on my SC.
They came to my office. Last edited by tcar; 12-29-2009 at 03:08 PM.. |

I used all star glass for my Land Rover after they installed a windshield on my bus. They did a nice job of protecting everything during removal and were actually pretty quick. I think I would use them for my SC if I had to get a new one. Although when my car was getting paint, Mark at Qualtech replaced the seal on my SC's windshield I know he knows Porsche's, you could try him.
Regards, Sandy
