Not a OC member, but go there once a month for the AX. There is one this Sunday at El Toro. We'll be there from about 7am to 6pm.

Thanks, looks like they still have space.

Now if the AX/DE classifications would come up on Google I'd be OK. Been out of the loop awhile.....

Anyone have a link to that? Just don't send to to pca or sd pca. They are all dead links....it's like trying to get laid on CL.

Looks like you are no longer first banana...
(Didn't realize it was you at first!)

There are some serious gearheads in OCR but they are out numbered by the "pretty, shiny crowd".

I stopped doing the OCR AXs because my back can't take the "stand around on asphalt" that corner working requires. (Preloading with ibuprofen and a day of recovery just isn't worth it when I can do a track day for not much more $$$ and have no pain.)

I have been thinking of putting together a small occasional breakfast with SERIOUS gearheads who want to talk car mechanicals, car setup, use and abuse of cars, etc. (And the first person to discuss what wax and polish they use gets bodily thrown out!)
Interested?

Back to OCR activities:
Besides the AutoX on Sunday this Saturday is the 3rd of the month so it is "Donuts with Ken" at 8:30 at Krispey Kreams at The Block of Orange. I rarely go but if we were going to have a get together of serious gear heads it would be fun.

Did you go to the Zone 8 website?

I found this PDF there. I think it has what you are looking for.

classification

Bob,
you can classify your car on the GGR Zone 7 website:
Rullcomm CS's Car Classification Form
Or you could always run in the "fun" class.
Either way, it's a blast!

Completely different classification system then OCR.

The proposed rules for 2012 will change it to be a clone of the GGR classifications.
