what is wrong with a well tuned CIS is that it has poor throttle response among other things - it was great technology for an old Subaru or VW Vanagon, but not at all what you want for a sports car
it was good for mpg, emissions & cold start in its day -- until superseded by computerized controls carbs give you very good throttle response and low airflow restriction at high rpm - exactly what one DOES want for a sports car my PMOs also have no lateral G problems |
Makes sense, that was more of a Weber trait I believe.
