Longhood Bumber Trim on Backdated Carrera?

I am building my ideas folder for my long-term plan of backdating my '84 Carrera and have a question about bumper trim. If my backdate plan includes aftermarket fibergalss front and rear bumpers (that account for the Carrera flares), is there bumper trim that will fit these bumbers with Carrera flares?

Thanks, Farrell

Yeah, You can use S trim if you want or just the tape that most people use.

Phil - I noticed many backdates use the black tape method, but I like the look of the chrome and rubber trim - I don't recall seeing it on a backdate, so was not sure if it was possible with Carrera flares.

For reference, my inspiration is David Mohlman's Tangerine '72 in the November 2007 issue of Excellence. That car has been stuck in my brain since the first time I saw that article - in my mind, that car is perfect, steelies and all. That issue sits on my bed stand or by the crapper and gets picked up 2 or 3 times a week to read the article again.

Thanks

If you use S-trim on the rear of a fiberglass bumper you will need to bend it a little to follow the curve of the flares. Not that hard.

The original RS touring trim is NLA last time I checked.
