Thank you pelican!
I just want to thank Wayne for his forum. I have owned 9 Porsches over the past 15 years and I am absolutely obsessed with the marque. I started in college with a 944 and started doing DE events, realized once I had a clue about car control that I needed more power and moved on to the 944 turbo. After that I purchased my first 911 a ruby red 1984 coupe, then a 95 993 soon after a 90 964 track car joined the 993 in the garage. Then back to 944 turbos (3 more).
After a drought of no pcar and a bad marriage to blame for it all I bought a track prepped 1978 911 with a 3.2 with weber carbs! I had been a rennlist guy with the 944s and knew about pelican but never spent any time on the site. Last year when I bought the car I discovered pelican completely. I have been an instructor for Bill Scott Racing at Summit Point raceway in WV for the past ten years and have been enjoying Porsches (and other people's Ferraris greatly)! I am currently building my 78 into a RSR replica with some creative changes. This forum has made all of this possible. I have bought most of my parts from this forum and the forum has been a great source of buyers for all of the parts I have removed from my car in the process. It is amazing when I post a part in classifieds to have a PM hours later from people looking for whatever item I post. I have had great roadtrips picking up parts and have met many great people in this forum. When I need a part I post a WTB and I have plenty of people with what I need reply! I do research and search for a how to when I get stuck working on my car. My car is the car pelican built! and was financed by the sale of my extra parts! Thanks Pelican Parts! Thanks Wayne! |

Wayne , again thanks for the site and all that you personally do for the community. By the way got the Pelican satin badge and black ball cap from the wife (Santa on the tag) for Xmas both great products. Also your site helped get by my count about 50 P cars at the BAP run up here in the bay area. We had a hell of a time ........... thanks Steve |
