BMW Roundel 1981 porsche sc FRESH AIR INLET BOX

I was able to remove my blower motor but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the FRESH AIR INLET BOX. I'm scheduled to have my Porsche soda blasted this weekend.

Thanks in advance

You have to remove the black grill in the top of the photo.

Behind that there are screws which hold the air box in place.
I think two from memory but that was a long time ago. Once removed it will almost fall out.

You can see one of them through the grill circled in red...

Good luck with the project.

You're welcome.

Did you get it off?

You have to juggle it a bit to clear the sheet metal.
