Dash cover mateial

Hello All

I am the proud first time Porsche owner of a lovely 1987 911 Coupe, GP white and burgundy interior.
Can anyone tell me what the material that the covers the instrument mounting area, the dashboard and centre console is made of? I need to do a bit of cleaning and want to get the right stuff to clean it up with???

What do you use to clean with?

Vinyl. There is a great amount of information here on detailing your car. many opinions on "the best" product to use. Use the search function and grab a drink...you can read for hours.
