warren-remote starter question
 
anyone can answer this question, warren comented on how to wire a remote starter for a mfi or cis setup, but my car is carb. can anyone tell me how to wire up the push button starter for my car? im not an electrical gurue so try and be simple with replys, thanks in advance

Fred,

It should be just as easy on a carbed car, because the solenoid and alternator hot leads go through the 14-pin connectors, too!

I didn't mention it in the other post, but the 14-pin connectors can be disassembled very easily by popping off the cover with a small screwdriver ... so you can bridge on a connection or resolder the pin lead with a slight 'extension.'

The biggest part of the job will be removing and re-installing the relay/fuse/CDI panel -- not actually putting in the switch! Good luck!

Those leads aren't very long ... 18 ga wire should be fine.
