how much interrest would be there if we offer the lid for $190. we crunched the numbers and believe we can offer this to you. i will make a run next week if there is enough interrest?
tonight i will post some more pics.....we just got our 100 liter tank from europe! i unpacked it.....and wet my pants........

Hey Ed just saw this thread! Thought you guys were of the "Walk quietly carry a BIG stick"
creedo ?
For those of you uninitiated these guys are the real deal... I've personally known Ed and his
brother Allen who both own custom shops of their own making about 16 yrs and every few
years or so crank it up a few notches!
Ed's newest venture Kundensport appears to be the latest and greatest iteration of a truly
focused porsche only race and collectible dedicated shop..
Ed's blue baby that I believe is closer to Mexico (but what do I know) looks to be a cool
track dedicated creation with all the factory style updates, seam welding, suepension point
reinforcement, battery box elimination, vintage style rollbar and seating and suspension ALA
ST,or TR even.
Ed and Hans are currently completing two projects for me one of which has been an 18 mo
nail biter with 3000 miles between home and shop it hasn't been easy..
I'll try and upload a shot of my 993 GT2 nearing completion and near complete overhaul
thanks to Ed and his group, thanks and next time they have an open house , it's a ticket I
wouldn't miss...Bert

Well,

I'd be interested in one. If you have the time, I wouldn't mind a close-up picture of the lid, showing how the lower edge is trimmed and how it looks where the mounting screws attach.

Thanks,
Jeff

Will you post this build on the Early 911S Registry? We like to see these old race cars over there.

Is the 917 going to stay in Gulf livery? I do not know the history of your chassis. I do not see any oil hoses so I thought it was still factory with oil in the frame tubes, not a Wyer car. I always liked the Salzburg colors- I actually prefer the blue with white streaks. And, they were more than 20 kilos lighter without the Wyer oil hoses and extra kit.

Talking

i dont want to change the topic here, but the 917K we are working on is a Wyer car, but has oil in the frame. due to the chassis # history!

or....contact me, lets schedule a visit and i will walk you through the history myself!

i should be posting more pics tonight, the 911 is moving fast

Hans

I do not want to bother you guys too much. I was just in there about 3 weeks ago.

However... I would be interested to learn more of the history of that 917 chassis. I also liked seeing all of the "super-special-secret-speed-stuff" you have for that 911- I saw a special crankshaft on the bench that must be for this car. I will be in touch. Thanks.
