Question Will the seats from a 996 fit my 86 cab?

I got a nice set of powered seats from a wrecked 2000 996 in hope they will fit my 86 cabriolet.
The rails look very different, and my cad did not have power seats on the passenger side.
Will these seats fit my 86 cab? I realize it won't be a straight install but I wonder how much work will be involved, if even possible.
If the seats won't fit they will go on sale...

I've put 996 seats in a 964 and I've put 964 seats in an SC so I would say 996 seats are able to be fit in an 86

Document it! So that the list knowledge base goes up.
Ok,ok, I'm really just looking for replacements to my 87 seats and want to know how easy or hard it will be.

Here are the seats in a 964. Pretty simple install but I didn't document it.
Got bored so I thought I'd see if they fit
