rear swaybar mounts

I have a 1973 911T that came with no swaybar mounts. I would like to build my own but I need some dimensions. can anyone provide me with the dimensions of a mount? I am looking for outer size, spacing between holes (center to center) and hole size/thread pitch. Looking to build something like this:

Thanks,
Chris

I would buy the swaybar attach it to the trailing arms and then begin to fabricate mounts. Those will drive your design. Most of your dimensions will come from the swaybars. WEVO sells very nice ones, which only need to be located and welded to the chassis. They are approximately similar to what you have pictured.

Do you already have the sway bar selected?

I don't have the swaybar yet which is why I ask. I have the car upside down on a rotisserie and am trying to prep it for a sway bar. I will definitely mount a piece of pipe across to make sure I clear the trans mount, etc. However, I am lurking on the used parts board trying to find a good rear sway at a good price and haven't found one yet.
I don't want to spend $90 per mount (WEVO) when I can build them with stock I have on hand. Even the stock ones are crazy expensive for what they are....

Thanks,
Chris

OK. I'd probably wait until you have the bar in hand. That will insure installation with no binding, but you could fabricate the mounts, now. I'll measure the spacing on the bolts tonight if no one chimes in sooner.

Did you look at the smart racing site or tarrett site to see if they give dimensions of their products?

Why not buy the stock early mounts. They are easily available and about $25 each. Don't know about your time but that is cheap in the grand scheme.

Even the updated, reinforced factory mounts are relatively cheap.

You need to be careful here.

A few things to consider:

-In '73 the fuel pump is located under the rear passenger seat and interferes with the mounting location of either the weld in ones or the ones Weltmeister offers that bolt to the torsion bar tubes. In either case, you "Should" relocate the fuel pump to the front cross member.
-Weltmeister offers Sway bar end attachments that replace one of the eccentrics on the the springplates.
-The cost of these parts may be well worth it to avoiod reinventing the wheel.
