Front brake rotor to spacer hub help needed

Can someone tell me the correct torque for the nuts/bolts connecting the spacer hub to the front rotor? From my 1988 Carrera.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1263685406.jpg

Is it just me, or does that seem like a small torque value? I mean, they do hold the wheel onto the car! We torque the lugs at almost 100 foot pounds.

Not trying to argue with the book, I'm just surprised. It certainly felt like a lot more than that when I took them off.

And while we're at it... how do I accurately tighten the hub retaining nut on the front axles?

They don't hold the wheel on. The hub does that. The rotor bolts only hold the rotor on. Plus, if the bolts needs to have a higher torque applied, they'd be bigger.

You tighten it until you can just move the washer underneath with a screwdriver. Do a search and you'll find numerous posts detailing what the amount of force required should feel like.
