What are the sysmptoms when a throttle switch fails?

Hello all. Just curious what the tell tale signs are when the throttle switch goes. I have a flat spot at between 2500 and 3k rpms. It runs normal fter that range and if I drop back down the flat spot appears again.

Thanks,

Chris

Chris, I noticed there was just lack of pull around 3000 rpm,s adjusted my throttle linkage and when I replaced the switch and bench checked it. The switch was intermitent, replaced the switch and the car came alive.

Thanks bklyn. I will replace the switch then. Is a direct replacement or do you have to do any adjustments afterwards?

Thanks,

Chris
