Does any one no what type of Exhaust this is

I stumped on the make of this Exhaust for my 89 911 but there are no markings on it at all.I thought I might be able to get some info from PP,any input would be great. Here are some Pics.

Looks like Borla or even Monty but those companies typically stamp the name prominently.

How's it sound?

Is your current exhaust the stock setup?

If it is, then buy this before it's gone!!!! It should bolt right up to your catalytic convertor or premuffler.

If you don't like the sound, sell it and go with something else.

not sure if that one is borla. As for sound, I have had borla on more than one cars and all sound good. You won't like it if you are the camry/lexus type of driver.

Install them both at first. Buy the gaskets and new nuts and then you can remove the bypass with the stock muffler or the cat with the new muffler. It MAY be a bit loud with the bypass but that is for you to decide.

Post video clips ofeach setup andwe'll help you decide.

The story on this Exhaust is, and I quote the seller had a friend that worked at a porsche dealer in LA and Charlie Sheen ya Charlie Sheen cam into the dealer and told them to remove this from his car back in 1988 and install a stock exhaust I think he was selling the car,so he bought it for his 87 from his friend. So this Exhaust is over 20yrs old and its been sitting in storage for like 15yr.I don't know how true the story is but it sounded pretty crazy.

I have that same muffler, it was an e bay 150.00 purchase. I do not know the manufacturer , but it looks to be high quality, and it sounds great. It has a nice deep grumble, but not overly cracky when you are on the go pedal.
I put this on my buddy,s 84 carrera, . It does exit the vehicle a little funny, and remember having to mess around with the rear valence a little to make it fit. We did this and a cat by/pass at the same time, and it seemed to wake the car up a bit.

Just a thought before you purchase a used item. I found an ebay seller store (performance-curve) that carries an 80 Series (1 in, 1 out) that sounds great. I talked to Flowmaster and they said it was designed for a V6 Camero. I paid $125 for it (free shipping) and paid $100 to have it installed (with chrome tip) on my '86 911 Targa. It looks like a great fit and sounds very deep, especially when cold. As it warms up, it does get a bit quieter. Here are some pics of it installed. They did weld it instead making it bolt on to the existing connection. I also painted it with that 5000 degree muffler/engine paint.
