Question Sundial tops

I know. I know. This has been discussed. But I have two questions:
1. Has anyone who bought one recently tried it for water tightness?
2. Does it fit into the trunk of an SC with the brake booster? I remember reading that it doesn't, but I'm not sure.

Thanks

I bought one recently to use while my top is being repaired. Changes that needed were as follows:
Change rear hardwear to larger pins that fit the recpeticles better. Also add weatherstripping to front edge for better seal. I have not attacked the rear sealing yet but it will leak water. I know because I can see light in some areas. With the chages I have made the air leaks are much lower than the original top.
