leistritz muffler application
I have a Leistritz muffler w/ a serial # bn 4210739, dated 7/86, typ 911/1, originally 2 in and 1 out. It was modified by the previous owner to 2 in,2 out w/ 3.5" ss tips. I am considering putting it back to original 2 in, 1out( or sell it if too much work and buy a 2in,1out). Does anyone know what year this muffler originally fit? thanks Jerry

It is an '86 replacement for early cars with two in one out up until '74.
Cool piece, except for the tips. I have a similar although not modified with a '76 date and a friend of mine also has an '86. David |
