964 decklid install on 82SC trouble

I'm trying to install a 964 decklid with spoiler on my 82 SC and it appears the spoiler tray rubs on the heater hose/pipe, there's not enough clearance. What have others done? Is there a need to relocate the heater hose that goes over the fan, do you need to trim the underside of the spoiler tray to get this to work? I thought other than the hinges it was pretty much a direct fit.

I did a quick search and it seems that most have gone to a backdate style heater setup that eliminates the "over the fan housing" hose as well as relocated the coil to get the needed clearance.

exactly what I did + remove a trim piece that extends full left and right so it doesn't hit the PMO air box's

What trim piece are you referring to? The piece on the decklid?

Just as an alternative I saw someone that routed that over the fan heater hose around the back of the engine. But you cam get the backdate pieces at Partsheaven.
