Post I want to AC my SC...HELP!!!

Hey guys I have a 78 SC which I purchased in Florida with no ac but I really want to use the car as a daily driver so does anyone make a complete retrofit kit for 911s or can nyone tell me if there is a lot of work involved here in installing aftermarket ac in the 911. Thanks!!

I just called them today to get a new AC system for mine since I butchered it (compressor was toast anyway).
The pricing for my 84 equipment was as follows: compressor + clutch = 499
complete hose kit $540
damper 110.00
Of course, you'll need to condensers too.

He said he can save me half a day's labor by having him step me through it first. Real nice guy, definitely willing to help.
Good luck.

I think there is a big difference in replacing a broken AC system, and installing an AC in a car that never had it. You may be better off finding a car with AC.
