Cleaning intake injector seats. pic

Well, I pulled my injectors for some cleaning, and I inspected the seats in the intake - full of 23 year old crud.

Can I just clean this out using some brake cleaner and a cotton swab?

Oh, if you look, you'll see the missing fuel press. reg bracket bolts I mentioned in another thread. Upper left of pic.

Thanks!

I would use q-tips and a shop vac to try to catch any of the debris from falling into the intake. Use the nozzle attachment to create as much vacuum while you are cleaning the hole. Another thought was to find a cork the fits the hole then spray with brake cleaner.

Thanks Mike - I snagged some swabs from a lab where I work - they're made of wood instead of plastic or cardboard. I like the vacuum and cork ideas.
