Sunroof runs slooooooow

My sunroof is slowing down more every time I use it. Anyone have an idea? Could be the motor giving out, or would servicing fix it?
Thanks

Terry,
I had the same problem with mine. I took the sunroof apart and did several things. Cleaned and lubricated the cable was one. The thing that seemed to make the biggest difference though, was to take the little coved off of the sunroof transmission, and scrape out as much old grease as I could get to. Then add new grease and keep turning the worm gear to distribute the new grease. One other key item as well, is that the lubrication on the two shaft ends of the worm gear has become either non existent or again is almost solidified. I took some Magnum Teflon spray lubricant and sprayed some on all the bearings, and just rotated the worm gear shaft. It started to turn with very little effort. I did it two years ago, and it still works great.
