Question 5th gear problem?

I have a 1983 911SC and I'm having a problem when I am in 5th gear and want to shift back to 4th. It has a tight feel to it. I have to put a little elbow grease into it. It goes into 5th no problem, but has a tight feel coming out. I have not adjusted the clutch recently or had any other tranny work. I installed the factory short shift kit a while back and had no problems since then, until now. I drive the car very little and have had no trouble after installing the kit. I have close to 1000 miles on the car since I put the kit in. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance, Glen.

Hmm, adjust the shifter, change the tranny fluid, and check the adjustment of the clutch. Just the first things that came to mind.
