Air intake experience (with or without regulator)
I restored the air intake on my 911T (MFI) 1972 back to original (see picture).
On the other hand I see many cars without the air regulator. I live in an part of the world where it can be very cold but only drive the car when it's nice and sunny outside (without the top of course). Is the air regulator, when it's not freezing outside, more a burden or should I leave it on just in case? Ed ![]() |

Take it off and see how the car performs.
It's not a big job to put it back on again. You could store it in the trunk just in case.

Thanks!
Assume you don't need it in SA? Lived in Sydney a couple of years and during winter people were wearing beanies and winter coats when it was below 15C :-) Cheers from a very cold and snowy Prague. Ed |

If you ever drive it in the cold (near freezing) the throttle body's will freeze and that can cause many problems.
