3.2 air flow meter bypass screw
Hi to all, can someone help me locate the air bypass screw on the maf/ air flow sensor of my 3.2. Thanks a lot, rommy

It's located on the underside, possibly under a metal cap. 3mm short allen key needed. Do you have a CO meter or an air fuel meter tester?

Hi,i see a sort of cap but am not sure if that is the one refered to. Can this cap be pryed off or needs to be drilled off? Is this the 1/2 inch round elevated thing on the underside front left corner of the afm? thanks again rommy

Yes that's it. You can pry it out, but take it to a workbench. Adjustments should be done carefully, and not in an experimental manner.
BTW, if your problem is running while the engine is hot, then it's not the AFM. Look to the O2 sensor instead. |
