Consequences of removing chin spoiler
Hi folks,
I have an 82 SC with no rear spoiler/wing, and am considering removing the chin spoiler because it's already fairly ratty and scrapes readily on steep driveways. Any thought son whether I should expect much of a change in stability? My driving is fairly tame (no tracking), but occasionally spirited. Thanks, Babak |

I doubt you'll see much if any difference under 3 digit speeds. The conventional wisdom is that you can run front only, front and rear together, but not a rear wing only.
...or you could replace it.

I believe the SC did not originally come with a front spoiler. At least mine didn't.

Stability wise not very noticible.
Cosmeticlly there will be four visible holes, two on each side/end of the metal airdam. Cooper

I noticed the chin spoiler helped with front end stability in the wind and from diesel truck turbulence.
