overflow hose on brake master cylinder

has anyone had issues with pressure leaking out of the overflow hose? I have a c-clamp on the hose, but it is leaking where the fitting meets the master cylinder. Im Iosing about 1 psi per minute

to add a little more color, I can spin the hose freely on the plastic piece that leaves the master cylinder, and moving in different directions makes it leak more or less

I've got it clamped off at the red arrow, but it is losing pressure from the yellow arrow area. I would like to try removing this fitting but not sure how that metal brace comes loose without ruining it. I pulled on the hose from the MC pretty firmly and feel like i'll break the plastic nipple.

I've got some vinyl hose i'd like to toss on there and c-clamp. It should be a snugger fit.

Or should i just c-clamp as I described and keep adding pressure to the system as I bleed with the Motive?

I removed the original clamp at the resewrvoir nipple as it was too loose anyways, just cut it off and use a normal hose clamp.
When i bleed with the motive i remove the drain line and use a small section of hose with a bolt pressed in at the end to keep the pressure.

Cheers !
