911, My Valentine

In addition to a great card and a little fine chocolate, my sweet husband helped me resuscitate my 911 whose battery was dead. We juiced her up, and once I got her started, I took off for a little joyride around downtown Birmingham. Yes, that was me going through Five Points South with "I'm Every Woman" blaring from my obnoxiously loud 80's stereo. Hee! I turned the music down to go up my current favorite hill, of course. I came home with the biggest smile on. Hubby knows the way to my heart!

Got her tucked in just in time for Snowpocalypse II, currently underway (we might see an inch of snow but it's windy as hell).

It had been a couple of weeks since I took her out for a good run, I'm ashamed to say. I won't let that happen again!

if you garage your car and it only sees occassional use in winter i highly recommend a Battery Tender (brand).

Bought one for my car after going through the painful experience of buying 2 Sonnenscheinensnoozenfarten batteries.

At least you could drive yours. I had to push mine outside to get some sun on her....... and of course to take a photo or 2 with her sister:

22nd St South from 10th Ave S up toward Highland - nice and curvy!

I know just what you mean, Sweetie. I drive my Ford Ranger most of the time and it's a very good truck, but when I take the 011 for a spin, or commute, it puts a huge smile on my face every time. It's something you can't explain. If you don't "get it," then I can't "explain it." You get it.
