Cylinder type
Does anyone know how to tell the difference between Nikasil and Alusil in a set of 3.2 piston and cylinders?
Thanks Kevin |

One of you tech savvy must know a simple way to tell the difference between the two. Now that the Super Bowl is over maybe everyone is willing to take a minute and give their thoughts..
I appreciate it Kevin |

Alusil has 10 fins and Nikasil has 11 fins. Nikasil cylinders are also slightly magnetic. You can have ether as they used both through out the years. Mine ended up being Alusil

Kevin,
Good to hear they are Nikasil. New rings seat well with these.
