Is there such a thing as "paint filler"
I have a couple of areas on my bodywork ('72 T) where the paint has been scraped off down to the metal. These areas are approximately 1" x 1/4". The metal is not harmed. What is the best way to prepare this for (re-)painting? Just sand it to feather it in? Or is there such a thing as a filler that can be used to raise the level to match the existing paint then sand to smooth?
Thanks! |

feather prime and repaint....depending on where it is on the panel and the paint used, you may be able to have the area spotted in.

Thanks stormmaster.
"...spotted in" ---was ist das? Does that mean they could paint just that spot and not the whole panel? The spots i am refering to are actually on the front bumper. |
