Very cool. I guess their energy storage is a mechanical/electrical hybrid (pun intended) in that the flywheel works as a generator as opposed to a mechanical drive to the wheels a la BMW's KERS in F1 last year.
It will be the first AWD GT3 yet it could also be thought of as the ultimate evolution of the The 1899 Lohner Porsche, the first Hybrid Vehicle. Can't wait to see it on the track!

FWIW, I have read that they are licensing the system designed by Williams for use in F1.

Oops, for some reason I thought BMW's KERS was a direct drive off the flywheel to the engine. I guess flywheel generator makes more sense!

very interesting - it has 2 electric motors up front, so they may intend to create some differential torque on the wheels (!)
